## Smart-home use

The display works without a smart-home setup. With a compatible Matter over Thread system, readings can trigger ventilation or notifications and reduce ventilation when conditions improve.

MikroTik describes a local setup using **Home Assistant and hAP be³ Media**, keeping measurements, history and automations within the home network. USB powerbanks and MikroTik GPOE-USB are also mentioned as power options.
